#RivetingReads: Annika Sagen recommends SELTSIMEES LAPS by Leelo Tungal

This trilogy by Estonian poet, children’s literature author and translator Leelo Tungal is based on the author’s own childhood experiences. The book examines life in Estonia in the 1950s through the eyes of a child as she and her family wait for the return of her mother, who has been sent to a Siberian prison camp as a result of false accusations against her.
