EUROPEAN FICTION IN THE UK: IN OR OUT?
British author, translator and Italophile TIM PARKS joins the French novelist ANTOINE LAURAIN, the Romanian diplomat and prize-winning *EUPL author CLAUDIU FLORIAN and Briton JOANNA WALSH, author of Fractals and Vertigo for an evening of readings and lively debate about their own work and the literature of wider Europe. How will the reception of international literature in the UK be affected by the UK’s decision to leave the EU? Hosted by Journalist Rosie Goldsmith, Director of the European Literature Network.
*EURO STARS* is a new way of presenting European literature in English in public. We want you to enjoy great fiction, great translation, great performances and great debates about writing and the culture and continent it comes from. *EURO STARS* is brought to you by the European Literature Network, with funding from Creative Europe and Arts Council England. *EURO STARS* is supported by ELIT Literature House Europe & EUPL European Union Prize for Literature.
