“The Best of the Best of the Best of the Best Books of 2015 List”
January 2016 Newsletter
By now, if you’re like me, you’ll be FTB – Fit to Burst – with festive fare; your email accounts will be groaning with all those red robin round-ups and newsletters from friends and families telling you what was best and worst about 2015. You’ll also have noticed a sparkling abundance of professional festive newsletters as well as endless ‘Best of Lists’ from publishers, bookshops and media: everyone is doing it these days and we at European Literature Network are no exception. How many lists have you read of the best cookery books, graphic novels, poetry, fiction, translated fiction, non-fiction, best-selling, worst-selling, turkeys (!) – and so on? Well, here at ELNetwork we don’t want to add to your indigestion so we thought we’d contribute with a bite-sized selection of the ‘Best of the Best of the Best of the Best’ book lists!
Do add your own suggestions if you have them. After all, we are a networking hub for you; we are a cosy fire for you to gather round to share and promote your favourite foreign stories – not just at New Year but every day of the year. So Happy 2016 everyone and please use our Network to share your 2016 publishing news, events, festivals, translations, reviews, films and podcasts.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
