Translation Workshop on the Works of Herta Müller

The workshop Lyn Marven will examine the challenges of translating Herta Müller’s short prose and collages, starting in the morning with a discussion of existing translations before moving on to tackle a short prose text from one of her first collections. In the afternoon we will focus on her collages, which we will reproduce as collages using cut outs.
