THE POETRY LIBRARY: Queer Poets on Teaching

Wednesday 6 July, 8pm

The Poetry Library, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, Free but booking required at specialedition@poetrylibrary.org.uk

Hear from Betsy Warland (Oscar of Between – A Memoir of Identity and Ideas); Andra Simons (The Joshua Tales); Saradha Soobrayen (editor, writing coach, and poet) and the widely anthologized Maria Jastrzebska.

They discuss teaching styles, influences and the ways queerness influences their writing and performance.

The panel is followed by questions from the audience.

The European Literature Network was created with the mission of championing great writing from Europe in the UK – and doing it together. Open to writers, translators, publishers, agents, booksellers, festival directors, arts managers and journalists, ELNet is a free, collaborative hub for sharing news and views.

ELNet operates without funding or grants (unfortunately) and is therefore dependent on the passion, professionalism and dedication of our core team and on an extensive network of volunteers, supporters, partners and donors.
