Nora Krug was born in Karlsruhe. She is an award-winning author and illustrator, whose prizes include the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Lynd Ward Graphic Novel Prize, and gold and silver medals from the Society of Illustrators. Her animations have been shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
