Fashion and Fiction: Marian Keyes

Much-loved international best-selling author Marian Keyes is well known for her novels, such as Watermelon and Rachel’s Holiday, as well as for her collections of lively and honest journalism. She is also very vocal about her love of fashion and make-up, and the joy, comfort and transformative power they can bring to her, her characters and women’s lives. Writing about her characters’ clothing choices, she believes, however small the detail, helps shape readers’ perceptions of character, creating a highly relatable world. Join Marian Keyes in conversation with Rosie Goldsmith as they discuss fashion and fiction and celebrate her new novel, The Break.

Monday, 2 October 2017, 7pm-8:45pm, Victoria and Albert Museum, The Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre
