European Writers Tour 2017

In response to the changes faced by Europe, you are invited to meet the most exciting writers from across the channel, to listen to their stories and take a different look at our history and identity. 

Launching at the British Library on Tuesday 10 May 2017 –  with the European Literature Night with A. L. Kennedy and guests – the tour invites European authors to talk and meet audiences at major British literature festivals and at the British Library. Just scroll down to discover the programme!

The launch of the Tour at the British Library with a special evening with Scottish Author A. L. Kennedy and guests. She will give a keynote address reflecting on the future of European authorship in a post-Brexit context and will be joined on stage by Clemens Meyer from Germany and Francesca Melandri from Italy for a conversation chaired by Arifa Akbar.
