Caravansérail: The Art of Translation – We Love Translation

To meet and encourage the ever-increasing interest in translated literature, Caravansérail is launching “The Art of Translation” evenings. Taking place on the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm, the translation evenings will see translators discussing their work and shedding light on the processes and inspirations behind their art.

The first event on 14 February, “We Love Translation”, will be an introduction into why people are passionate about translation, with Daniel Hahn, prolific translator and the personality behind the TA First Translation Prize, as the chairperson, and a panel made up of Deborah Smith, translator and founder of Tilted Axis Press, Laura Macaulay, Deputy Publisher of Pushkin Press, and Ellen Jones, translator and Criticism Editor at Asymptote Journal.

Due to a limited amount of seats, please RSVP to info@caravanserail.co.uk.
